Q

What file system do you recommend for Windows XP?

What is the perfect file system (FAT/FAT32/NTFS) for Windows XP? Also, what should I do when my computer shows virtual memory is low?

In almost 100% of Windows XP installs, I recommend the NTFS file system, as it enables advanced features such as file-level security and encryption for your sensitive data. To address a low virtual memory situation, you can adjust the size of the page file, as well as other performance options in Windows XP, as detailed in the following KB article: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=308417.
