I'm the Security Officer for my company, and I want our users to have the Acceptable Use Policy where I know they can see it, everyday. I want to deploy this document to every desktop in the directory (AD) permanently with read and printing rights only. The document is written in MS Word. How can I accomplish this? Thank you for any help that you can render.
Normally, if the policy is not too lengthy, you can make it the logon message every time they have to log on to the machine. If it is really too long for a single display on the screen you could either use a logon script to make sure the document is repeatedly copied to their desktop and even opened, you could use the software deliver options within AD, or you can configure it as their background (whew – that would be nasty).
