Why are user accounts constantly locking?

Some of our user accounts are constantly locking, even though they are not doing anything. We have three domain controllers: one NT and two Win 2000 servers. Any idea why this is happening?

The first thing I'd look into is the possibility that there is a security policy that is causing user accounts to lock when certain conditions are met, for instance, if there are a certain number of unauthorized login attempts. You may have inadvertently set these policies for one or more users, so you might want to do an audit of each user group's account security policies and see if there is anything that might be set to cause accounts to lock.
