Win2000 server giving 'out of memory' error

We are running Win2000 server on Compaq ML 330G3 server with 512 MB ECC DDR RAM. We are getting the the following errors frequently: "Error No.1: Out of memory" and "Error No. 2: Windows protection error."
Most likely there is not enough RAM in the system and also the paging file is too small. Increase RAM to 1 GB and increase the paging file to at least 2 GB.
