Win2k hangs when adding new task in task wizard

Whenever I try to add a new task using the task wizard, it hangs and the CPU goes up to about 90%. I have to go through Task Manager to end it. It hangs when I click "next" to continue adding a new task. I have two tasks already created. I am running Window 2000 server SP3.

You may have a corrupted driver file or your system may be infected by a virus. First, update your antivirus software and perform a full system scan. Next, visit the Windows Update site and make sure you have all the latest updates for your system. If the problem still occurs, you can attempt to add new tasks from the command line using the AT command. As a near last resort, perform an upgrade install over the existing system, then re-apply SP3 and any hotfixes.
