Mscorsvw.exe is a process that is used to precompile Microsoft .NET framework
assemblies in the background. It can appear in the Task Manager after installation of .NET or an
application that uses the framework, and can consume up to 100 percent CPU usage. The mscorsvw.exe
process should precompile high-priority assemblies within five to ten minutes; otherwise, it will
run as low priority and defer to other processes.
