QUESTION POSED ON: 22 November 2004
I'm having a problem moving mailboxes from Exchange 2000 to a new 2003 server. I did a small move of three mailboxes to test using ESM. All was fine but when I went to move the remaining 30 mailboxes I lost my information store on the 2000 server. It will not mount and gives errors of event id 7031 and an error of c1041721 when I try to mount the store. Any suggestions?

The error offered is very generic. You should scan the application log to see more information on what the problem is. However, the migration of mailboxes often can cause space issues. Check the drives on the system were the log files are being stored as well as the drive where the data and Exchange system files are stored. Free up space as needed.
