Can I turn off stand-by and hibernation on a global scale?

QUESTION POSED ON: 04 April 2004
I have five PCs running Windows XP SP1 that 25 users access. Due to the applications these users run, they need to be members of the local administrator's group. These PCs must always be online to receive files from other devices on the LAN on a continual basis. However, XP defaults the power management settings to stand-by and hibernate. That means I have to login as each user on each PC to turn of stand-by and hibernation settings (way too time consuming). How can I turn off stand-by and hibernation on a global scale? I'm running a 2003 AD environment.

I don't believe there is a way to do this other than by editing each user's settings individually.
