QUESTION POSED ON: 16 November 2004
The OS I am using is XP Professional. When I click on IE, the browser opens with address of: "http://files/Internet%20Explorer/iexplore.exe

Simply change the IE home page to one of your choosing, such as http://searchwin2000.com If your homepage resets itself again, you may be the victim of spyware, and I recommend that you use a program called AdAdware or SpyBot to scan your system to remove it.
