QUESTION POSED ON: 02 December 2005
We have just deployed Global Server v3 on Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition. We are operating on Windows NT4 domain and we need to promote the 2003 Server to a domain controller, releasing the NT Server. My main concern is: After promoting the 2003 Server, users will not be able to login, to rejoin the new domain and they will lose their local profiles. Is there any other procedure to perform this operation with minimal disruption?
