Notes Migrator for SharePoint 5.0

SearchWindowsServer.com

Quest Software Inc.'s Notes Migrator for SharePoint 5.0 tool analyzes and migrates Notes, QuickPlace and Domino.Doc application content to SharePoint.

Notes Migrator for SharePoint reduces migration costs with a rules-based engine that allows administrators to automate tasks and create customizable, reusable data definitions. It not only migrates all data without loss, but also preserves all images, file attachments, OLE objects, rich text and DocLinks. Prior to the migration, the tool classifies all the databases in an environment, identifies unused applications, assesses data and design complexity and makes migration recommendations.

With this product, admins can also extract QuickPlace and Domino.doc site hierarchies, use rules-based engine and/or override manually assigned target SharePoint sites, lists and libraries or content migration jobs. Additionally, Notes Migrator lets admins preview the migration plan in the context of an existing SharePoint infrastructure and centrally manage a migration plan, job execution and results.
