SharePoint Connector for Confluence

Atlassian Inc's SharePoint Connector for Confluence fosters collaboration between disparate teams that use different collaboration tools.

SharePoint Connector for Confluence from Atlassian connects Confluence's free-form wiki to Microsoft SharePoint. With it, SharePoint users can create custom Web parts without writing code and establish collaboration to disparate teams that use different collaboration tools. And since SharePoint and Confluence share the same set of users via Microsoft's Active Directory, users can navigate between the two systems without interruptions.

Here are other new features in SharePoint Connector for Confluence:

  • Users can edit embedded Confluence wiki pages directly from SharePoint. Through embedded wiki content, SharePoint users can access Confluence plug-ins, such as charts, diagrams, image galleries and maps.
  • It includes any SharePoint list in a Confluence wiki page. Once linked from Confluence, the automatic linking system creates a shared link from SharePoint back to Confluence.
  • Search enterprise wiki pages and SharePoint documents are in one location.

  • Full document security and permission is maintained across all content.

System requirements: Confluence 2.6.1 or later; Windows SharePoint Services v3; Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 (Standard or Enterprise). MOSS is required for the following features: integrated search, single sign-on functionality from SharePoint using Windows Integrated Authentication to Confluence, forms-based authentication.

Pricing: Starts at $600.
