OnDemand Desktop 2.0 is the next generation of Sychron's workspace virtualization management suite for controlling users, desktops, servers and virtual environments with tools for centralizing the desktop.
OnDemand Desktop 2.0 is a server-based virtual desktop system that manages users, desktops, servers, administration and system runtime, enabling the management of virtual environments with automated and customizable delivery of a centralized workspace. The tool provides organizations with a strong ROI by delivering an efficient and reliable infrastructure while reducing complexity and maintaining business agility.
In version 2.0, Sychron adds support for Microsoft Terminal Services to ongoing support of VMware's ESX and Microsoft's Virtual Server platforms, providing the functionality and tools needed to centralize the desktop.
Other new features include the following:
Advanced administrative tools designed to simplify and automate a virtualized infrastructure seamlessly.
Enhanced performance, allowing administrators to effectively update, change, add and delete images, users, access, servers and virtual machines.
Expanded connectivity capabilities and several enhancements to the connection portal to improve security and resource assignments.

Pricing: The Enterprise Version of OnDemand Desktop 2.0 includes all supported platforms (on VMware and Microsoft) and list pricing begins at $1,000 a core.
