ELM Enterprise Manager is a rules-based, enterprise-class server monitoring and event log management suite of products from TNT Software Inc. Using small footprint service agents, it is designed to monitor the health and status of your servers and collect event logs from distributed Windows systems.
ELM Enterprise Manager centralizes data from distributed systems, saving time and improving performance and visibility. It includes a Notification Engine that enables administrators to customize the types of alerts they receive with corrective actions designed to suit your organizational needs.
Several ELM reporting options provide detailed visibility of a system's health data. Dynamic views allow admins to see events coming in as they are happening. They can customize these views with granular filtering capabilities for seeing exactly what they want within the specified parameters.
Version 5.5's new features include:
- Support for Windows Server 2008 and Vista -- All four ELM 5.5 products can be installed on and monitor Windows Server 2008 Standard and Enterprise Editions, as well as Windows Vista Ultimate.
- Event Search -- The new reporting tool has a search feature that uses event criteria to aid in forensic investigations and to create specific, informative reports.
- 64-bit Application Performance Monitoring -- Service and remote virtual agents installed on Windows Server 2008 x64 will collect, aggregate and trend any published counters from both 32-bit and 64-bit applications.

System requirements: Windows Vista Business, Enterprise and Ultimate Editions (32-bit and 64-bit), Windows Server 2008 Standard and Enterprise Edition (32-bit and 64-bit), Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition and Enterprise Edition, Windows XP Professional SP2, Windows 2000 Server, Advanced Server and Datacenter Editions and Windows 2000 Professional.
