1. Trust between two AD domains' (Windows 2000 and Windows 2003)
Dear Paul,
Do you have a Step-by-Step on creating a trust between two AD domains' (Windows 2000 and Windows 2003) two-way trust? The main concern here is there have to be some DNS records created before the trust steps are taken. I am more concerned with those DNS steps.

2. Active Directory not synchronizing
Dear Paul,
I have two Windows 2000 Domain Controllers. The PDC is not synchronizing the Active Directory with BDC. I can't find the Sysvol share on the BDC. FRS is running on both the servers. I can resolve the DNS name using NSLOOKUP from both the servers. I tried the FRS utility and could not find any error. The Event ID I am getting is 13508. Please advise how to troubleshoot this problem.

3. Set up users to have full rights on PCs but not networks
Dear Paul,

I am setting up a small domain and would like users to have full admin rights to their local Windows XP machines, but not the network. Do I set this up as a policy or is there a different way? Any help would be appreciated.

4. Demote NT PDC to a member server of the 2003 domain without reinstall
Dear Paul,
We have two domains on same subnet. One is an NT domain with only one PDC and other is a 2003 domain with one DC. Two-way trust is established and working. We want to remove the NT domain and demote the NT PDC to a member server of the 2003 domain without reinstalling it. Is it possible? If so, how do we remove the NT domain?

5. How do I migrate a DC server and a child DC server?
Dear Paul,
I have a domain controller server (Win 2000 server) and a child domain controller server (Win 2000). I want to migrate both into two new servers (Win 2003) that I just bought recently. How can I do this? What's the procedure?
