Microsoft announces branding and RC1 availability of "Tahoe" server
As reported earlier in our news section, Microsoft has announced branding and first version release candidate availability for its forthcoming enterprise portal solution.
Formerly codenamed "Tahoe," the product is now called "Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server."
It is touted to provide seamless knowledge portal integration with Office and Windows and give enterprise customers robust document management, search, subscriptions and online discussions for their document collaboration process.
You can download RC1 now from the Microsoft Web site . The final version is due later this year.
