Editor's note: This is the second in a continuing interactive series on scripting that will appear on SearchWinSystems.com on a monthly basis. Christa Anderson, a noted authority on the subject, will cover basic scripting concepts and teach you how to use VBScript to perform common tasks.
In my first column last month, I introduced some basic scripting concepts. In this second column, I will cover some more advanced concepts, including arranging data, manipulating data, specifying data types, object types and changing the order in which code executes. I will also give you some tips that will help you debug your scripts.
I encourage you to think of this column as a serialized book that can respond to your questions. If you need something clarified, ask. You're probably not the only person with that question.
