Netsh is a command-line utility that allows an admin to display or modify the network configuration of a computer locally or remotely. It also has a graphical user interface (GUI) if you don't like to use command prompt.

Here's how to run a Netsh command:
1. Open Command prompt.
2. Type Netsh. To see available options, type Netsh /?.

The following example runs Netsh in a graphics mode that runs multiple tests and generates a report:
1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Run dialog box, type cmd.exe.
3. Type Netsh Diag GUI.
4. On the Network Diagnostics page of Help and Support, click Scan System.

Note: The switch Diag GUI will only run on Windows XP or Windows Server 2003.
