Your user name and password may not provide access to all the network resources. "Stored User Names and Passwords" is a feature of Windows XP and the Windows Server 2003 family that stores user names and passwords for servers. It provides a way to store these as a part of your profile so they can be used again. Benefits include a single sign-on experience and not having to log off and on to supply multiple user names and passwords for different computers.

1. To access this feature go to Start -> Control Panel -> Stored User Names and Passwords.
2. Click on the Add button.
3. Enter the server name you need to access.
4. Enter the user name and password and hit OK.
