Create .MSC files to save time in MMC

An invaluable tool is the Manage option under My Computer which utilizes a pre-configured MMC console of many popular tools. I use Services and Disk Defrag an awful lot and got sick of having to open up the sub-menus under Manage to get to them.

A better way to access these tools is to create your own .MSC file and save it in My Documents like you save Word or Excel files. This way, after rebuilding a PC and restoring your data (as I do often), your favorite set of tools are a click away without any annoying sub-menus to delve into.
