Retrieve a computer name from a browse list

to accidentally hide a computer name from the browse list by manually setting the Service Location (SRV) comment to more than 48 characters. To retrieve it do the following:

Use Regedt32 to navigate to:
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\LANManServer\Parameters

Double-click the "srvcomment" in the right pane and shorten the description so it does not exceed 48 characters.

Shutdown and restart your computer.
