Can Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2007 live on the same domain?

Discover how Exchange Server 2003 and Exchange Server 2007 can coexist on the same domain during migration.

Is it possible to have an Exchange 2003 server and an Exchange 2007 server coexist on a single domain during migration?
Yes, this is common when migrations are being done. An important thing to remember, however, is that free/busy information is not published in Exchange 2007 public folders by default. This would need to be activated for calendar interoperability between the two email systems.
