Can I add a Windows 2003 domain controller to a Windows 2000 environment?

Is it possible to add a Windows 2003 Server as additional domain controller in an existing Windows 2000 domain environment with Windows 2000 domain controllers?
Yes. However, you must first prepare and forever alter the Active Directory in order to do this. See the following Microsoft white paper for more information and the steps involved:
