Exchange Server's delivered and read email notification messages are currently sent from our ex-administrator's mailbox account. How can I change it so that these email delivery notifications are sent from the "system administrator" and not from a specific individual?
You can do this by launching Exchange System Manager (ESM) and then navigating to the administrative group containing the server on which your SMTP virtual server is located. Then right-click Properties -> Messages tab and change the "originating address" to the preferred Exchange Server mailbox.
