I have three of the four NT 4.0 core exams under my belt -- Workstation, Server and Server ITE. I never did take...
the Networking Essentials exam. Does Microsoft still offer credit for the Novell Networking Technologies exam 50-632? Could I take that and two current Microsoft electives to attain the MCSE NT 4.0? Or has that day come and gone? This is one of those "gray areas" where my only honest answer is "I don't know." I implore you to e-mail or call the MCP organization, and try to ferret out somebody with the authority to answer your question. This means e-mailing MCPHelp@microsoft.com or calling (800) 636-7544.
If worst comes to worst, send a registered letter or FedEx to their address at:
Microsoft Training and Certification Programs

Be sure to include your MCP ID on any and all correspondence with them. I've found this a reliable way to get answers to tough questions like yours, but they will ignore all correspondence that does not include a valid MCP ID.
