How can I allow users to view shared folders on AD domain without making them power users?

How can I give users permissions to view shared folders on an Active Directory domain member server with MMC without making them power users?
If the users are members of the domain as just members of the Domain Users group, then you only need to assign Read or Change permission to the shares from the member server. If the client systems employed by the users are Windows NT, 2000, or XP those clients must have domain computer accounts. If they are workgroup systems they will not have the ability to access domain resources. If they are Windows 9x or NT, you could consider installing the Directory Services client to grant them limited Active Directory capabilities.
