How can I move mail from one mailbox to another after an employee leaves?
There are a couple different ways you can move email from one mailbox to another:
1. Open both mailboxes at the same time in an Exchange client (e.g., Microsoft Outlook), and drag-and-drop the mail from one mailbox to the other.
2. Use ExMerge to export the mail from the one mailbox into a personal store (PST) file. Then import the PST into the other mailbox using the Exchange client's import feature.
3. Use the Exchange client's export feature to export the mail from the one mailbox into a personal store (PST) file. Then import the PST into the other mailbox using the Exchange client's import feature.
You didn't mention what you wanted to do with the departed employee's email address. If you wish to transfer that to another mailbox, simply remove it from the one mailbox and add it to the other mailbox.
Hope this helps.
