How can I share SMTP space for two servers with same domain?

We are trying to share SMTP space for two servers using the same domain name. The newer server is Win2000 and the other is NT. How can this be done?
If you're using Exchange 5.5 and you want to share an SMTP domain space, follow the instructions detailed at Microsoft Knowledge Base article 258203 -- XFOR: How to Configure Exchange to Share SMTP Domain Name Space.

If you're using Exchange 2000, have a look at article 321721 -- XCON: Sharing SMTP Address Spaces in Exchange 2000.
