How can a user forward e-mails from a certain recipient to an external mailbox?

I am running Exchange 5.5, and I have a user who wants to set up an Outlook rule that forwards e-mails from a particular recipient to an external mailbox. Can you explain how to accomplish this?
There are two ways to accomplish this.

The first approach has two steps:

  1. In Exchange Administrator, go to the properties of the Internet Mail Service and switch to the Internet Mail tab. Make sure the "Disable Automatic Replies to the Internet" checkbox is unchecked.

  2. In Outlook set up a rule to "redirect" mail to the SMTP address of the Internet recipient.
The second approach has two steps as well:
  1. In Active Directory create a contact and assign to it the SMTP address of the Internet recipient.

  2. In Outlook set up a rule to "redirect" mail to the contact.
Hope that helps!
