How to add a second Exchange server for redundancy

How do I add a second Exchange server for redundancy? How do they replicate? If I have a WAN, should it be at Site B?
Technically, multiple Exchange servers do not provide redundancy. Although public folder data can be replicated between multiple Exchange servers, mailbox data cannot. If you are looking for some type of high-availability or fault/disaster-tolerance, then you might look into geographically-dispersed clustering. You should note that this is very expensive and may not provide the level of tolerance you need because of distance limitations. Therefore, you should ensure that you have a solid backup, restore and recovery plan in place.
