Identifying users with the same name

Is there a way to modify the display name or add a field in order to identify users with the same name in Exchange 2000? For example, say two different users are called John Doe. An Outlook user opens the GAL and sees two John Does. Can I modify a field in AD/Exchange to get a first shot identification of both John Does?
You can use Active Directory Users and Computers to do this. When you open the properties of a user account in ADUC, you'll find the Display Name field on the General tab. You can edit that field to change the display name for one or both of the John Does as desired.
