Installing approved patches with SUS for XP clients

I installed SUS, and I think that it's working. The Windows XP clients, according to their log files, have polled the server. But when I look in Add and Remove Programs, I don't see the patch that I approved. How do I see if the files are on the workstation, and can I force the workstation to install them?
You may need to wait a bit. The clients will poll the server and download the updates you have approved, but then they use a different installation schedule. Try logging on one of the computers with an administrative account. You should see the update ready for installation. The updates work differently for standard users.
