Is the domain users group limited to 5,000 in Win2k?

Does the group size limit of 5,000 apply to the domain users group in Windows 2000?
In theory, no -- if I understand the question. That is, if you are asking if you can add more than 5,000 users to a group, I would say yes. If you are asking if a user can belong to that many groups, I would say no. The user belonging to that many groups runs into a problem primarily with the size of the Access Token that needs to be generated. Anything over about 300 will require some special attention. This number will be less if you migrated from an NT 4.0 domain as a SID history will have been developed for each user during the migration.
