Minimizing disruption during an Exchange Server migration

Expert Peter terSteeg shares ways you can minimize disruption during an Exchange Server migration.

What is the best way to cause minimal disruption when performing a migration to a new domain/Exchange organization?
A lot of testing and planning. Never believe that migrations are something you can rush over the weekend. For any good project to be a success, you need to allocate enough time and resources to completely scope out and complete the project. Cutting corners or not thoroughly testing out your scenario can only lead to a big problem. E-mail is like oxygen -- take it away for any length of time and your users will be extremely unhappy!

Happy migrations!
