Starting 5.5 Exchange Information Store service

I have a problem. When I tried to start the 5.5 Exchange Information Store service, it gave me this error message: "Specific error 4294965485." How can I start the service above?
Was this database recently restored from a backup, or was some maintenance recently performed against it? Is it possible that someone deleted one or more transaction log files? It sounds like it may need a small repair job. The error actually translates to JET_ErrFileNotFile, which indicates one or more files is missing.
