Microsoft has not yet commented about retiring the SQL 7.0 exams. Since they were just released last year, I imagine (based on previous history, which may or may not be a good go-by in this case) that those exams will stay current for at least another 6-12 months before their retirement is announced. Thus, I am guessing they will stay current through some time in 2002.
