What is an equivalent command in Win2k for the "msconfig" command in Win98?
My concern is how to modify specific applications to run or not run when Windows starts. I am aware of simply deleting the shortcuts from the Startup folder, but there are times when the folder is empty and yet programs still start.
There is no analog to the functionality in the Msconfig utility in Windows 2000. The WINMSD command will display the same information, but not permit you to make changes. The Computer Management console, Compmgmt.msc, is the administrative interface for changing computer configurations.
