    WSName, or Workstation Name Changer, is a freeware utility that automates the process of computer renaming. It was created by former Novell desktop management consultant David Clarke, who continues to update it periodically.

    x86

    x86 is a generic name for the series of Intel microprocessor families that began with the 80286 microprocessor.

  • Y

    Y2K (year 2000)

    Y2K is an abbreviation for "year 2000." As that year approached, many feared that computer programs storing year values as two-digit figures (such as 99) would cause problems.

    Zero Administration

    Zero Administration for Windows is Microsoft's initiative to help make its operating system easier to install and manage.
