Ecora Software's Patch Manager 3.2 contains a fully updated database that protects against the most recent threat to Microsoft's Internet Information Server (IIS).
The patch protects businesses from the worm, which is known by a number of names that include Download.Ject, JS.Scob.Trojan, Scob and JS.Toofeer.
Ecora customers should do the following steps to prevent infection by the worm: update Ecora Patch Manager databases to version 3.312, deploy Microsoft's security patch, MS04-011, to prevent infection.
Companies can begin the process free by visiting the Ecora's web site at www.ecora.com and following the links to Patch Manager 3.2. This no cost offer lets companies acquire a 14-day license for protecting 25 systems.
